Cela’s cottage is on the shoulder of Bark Point in Herbster, Wisconsin.
We’ve been finding respite and adventure in the area for more than 25 years and are excited to share this spot with friends and family.
Cela’s is a long walk (or a short bike ride) from the village of Herbster with its public mile-long sand beach, public historic gymnasium, and The Cranberry restaurant. A 12-minute drive in the other direction brings you to Cornucopia, the northernmost town in Wisconsin, with its slow-paced touristy vibes.
The big lake is barely visible from inside the cottage, but a short stroll through the backyard brings you to Cela’s bench pictured above with a full panoramic view of sunsets over Lake Superior and Minnesota’s North Shore.
